Gwen Erskine, President

Gwen Erskine, her husband Tom and their daughter Kandie own and manage Country Real Estate. Gwen is a county native and together with her husband has raised their five children here. Gwen has a diversified background, from income tax preparation to insurance, real estate and project construction. Gwen is a member of the The Community Foundation Board of Directors.

Steve McCarty, Vice President

Steve is a partner in the San Luis Obispo-based commercial real estate firm, Stafford McCarty. He served as member of the Board of Directors of The Community Foundation San Luis Obispo County for ten years.

Ty Green

Ty Green is a partner in the local law firm of Adamski Moroski Madden Cumberland & Green with an emphasis on real estate law and mediation. He has been in practice since 1982 and regularly represents clients before state and local agencies. He is the managing partner of SLO Racing Stable and on the Board of Directors for the California Thoroughbred Breeders’ Association. He is also on the Board of Directors for Friends of 40 Prado and was a Board Member/President of Woods Humane Society. In his spare time, he sings with the San Luis Obispo Vocal Arts Ensemble and a local doo-wop group known as The Bald Spots.

Kevin Irot

Kevin has thirty-five years of experience in the title insurance and escrow industry in various positions. He is Vice President and County Manager with First American Title in San Luis Obispo. He is responsible for managing their offices and employees in San Luis Obispo County as well as managing all title insurance and escrow underwriting decisions in this geographic area.

Heidi McPherson

Heidi is the Chief Executive Officer of The Community Foundation San Luis Obispo County.

Mike Patrick

Mike is the Executive Vice President at Sunrise Mortgage and Investment Company. He is a Board Member of Founders Community Bank, MZR Fitness, and The Community Foundation. Mike is also a member of the Vocal Arts Ensemble of San Luis Obispo.

Paul Ready

Paul F. Ready has practiced law in San Luis Obispo since 1982, with an emphasis on real estate, business and commercial transactions, bankruptcy and related litigation in both State and Federal courts. Paul represents banks, commercial property landlords, and local business interests. He also serves as both a Receiver and a Referee in civil disputes, and is a court-qualified expert witness on matters concerning real property and bankruptcy law.
